Crow not so 'Passion'-ate: Russell Crowe is from Australia, but he's not an Aussie after Mel Gibson's own heart. Gibson, also from down under, is drawing controversy for his film The Passion which depicts the death of Jesus and has been criticized as anti-Semitic. Crowe, when recently asked about the dust-up took the opportunity to poke fun at Gibson and the film, imploring Mel to "get off the glue." Of the plans to do the whole movie in ancient languages without subtitles, "What’s the point of making a movie where people can’t understand what’s going on? I don't understand that."

Something else we don't understand, a quote from Crowe: "Well if what I’ve heard about it is fair dinkum..." Dinkum?
