Revenging German Jews: Believe it or not, one of the new global hotspots for Jewish emigration is -- drum roll, please -- Germany. According to a Newsweek feature on the ever-increasing Jewish population of Germany, the total number of Jews in the home base of the Holocaust is 200,000. That's up from the 15,000 Jews who remained post-Holocaust and heading towards half of the 500,000 who lived there before World War II. More shocking still is Germany's newest achievement, taking in more former Soviet Jews than even Israel.

For some, who can't help but see Germany through the lens of Hitler and Nazism, these are troubling statistics. In the words of one German rabbi, however, "What better revenge against Hitler than when I take a hundred happy Jewish children from summer camp and walk with them through the old streets of Berlin?" What better revenge, indeed.
