As a hair dresser, he
was good. As a poker pro, he's been even better.

They call him "Silver Fox," and he is definitely tricky. Having worked as a hair dresser, he credits his time with the scissors for giving him an edge in psychology when at the table. Whatever his methods, the London resident the respect of the poker world.
In 1997, he finished third in the World Series main event (captured by Stu Ungar, about a year and a half before he died). That same year, he snagged the $5,000 Seven Card Stud title, which gave him a total of two WSOP bracelets. He's also won a World Poker Tour championship at the Bicycle Casino's Legends of Poker tournament and finished at WPT final tables twice, giving him career live tournament winnings in excess of $2 million.
Born in Calcutta, India and raised in Australia, he learned poker while watching his father play Five Card Draw at the age of 14. This helped him finish in the money well over thirty times at the World Series of Poker.
